Not signed, "Le Guet", made by Valmé, Les Ponts de Martel, for the English market, circa 1908. Fine silver eight day going, minute repeating, miniature carriage clock. Plain silver, the folding handle on the top, initiais engraved below the dial aperture, the back door engraved: "25 December 1908". White enamel with Roman numerals. Blued steel "spade" hands. Rectangular, gilt brass with going barrel, 13 jewels, platform straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with button on the top. In very good condition. Dim. 6 x 4 x 3 cm.
