Theodore Beyerle, Veil d. Stadt, circa 1800. Fine silver pocket thermometer. Three body, Empire with engine-turned band and glazed back. White enamel, graduated for Reaumur degrees. Blued steel hand. GiIt brass with bimetallic curb, constructed on the same principle than similar thermometers made by Jürsgensen, Houriet or Breguet. Signed on the dial and the movement. Diam. 54 mm.
