Movado Factory, Swiss, made for Tiffany & Co. circa 1940. Fine and very unusual silver Ermeto purse watch set on the clasp of a fine "broché" silk evening purse, with original instruction for winding and setting the hands. Three piece, massive rectangular, covered with " broché" silk, matching that of the purse. Mat silver with applied Arabic numerals. White gold "cathédrales" hands. Rhodiumed with "fausses côtes" decoration, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Signed on the dial, case and movement. In very good condition. Dim. 44 x 25 mm.
