Les Frères Esquivillon & Dechoudens No. 19292, Geneva, circa 1775. Fine 18 ct. three coloured gold, quarter repeating watch. Double body, Louis XVI with chased bezels, the back chased with a pastoral scene depicting a courting couple, outer garlands and ribbon knots. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Gold Louis XV hands. GiIt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece. Repeating on a bell by depressing the pendant. Signed on the dial and back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 45 mm.
