T. Dumouchel à Dieppe, circa 1700. Fine silver Louis XIV oignon with alarm. Double body "oignon", the bezels with pierced rondelles, the back engraved with inhabited foliage. Inner dial flange pierced and engraved with scrolled foliage. GiIt brass with Roman numerals on enamel cartouches, inner gilt brass revolving alarm setting disc with Arabic numerals on enamel cartouches as well ( some restored). Blued steel single hand and pointer. Hinged gilt brass full plate with Egyptian pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain steel three arm balance, fine gilt brass Louis XIV cock pierced and engraved with inhabited foliage. Striking on a bell, the alarm train with a gilt brass fixed barrel engraved with scrolls. Signed on the back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 59 mm.
