Fine and unique, eight-day going, hour and halfhour striking, moon phase astronomical, skeleton mantle regulator with the remontoire invented by Auguste Pointaux in 1841. White enamel chapter ring with Roman numerals, subsidiary annual calendar ring below the dial, revolving in front of a fixed pointer. Subsidiary sector at the top for the days of the week, with inner revolving moon globe. Bluedsteel Breguet hands. With twin going barrels, the going-train remontoire with double fly regulators wound by the striking train, Graham dead-beat escapement with jewelled pallets, halfseconds beating pendulum with wood rod and knife-edge suspension. Striking on a bell with a count-wheel on the back of the frame. Signed on the dial and the frame. In very good condition. Dim. 49 x 28 x 15 cm.
