A Monsieur Ducom de Bordeaux "Grande Horloge" Marine No. 3219, U2, sold on 7 December 1818, for the sum of 3000 Francs, with 10% discount, equalling 2700 Francs. Eight day marine chronometer suspended in gimbals in mahogany box. Notes History: Ducom from Bordeaux was Breguet's principal agent in the region. Bought back from the above on 27 April 1819, it was again sent to Ducom on 22 September 1819 at a price of 2700 Francs; according to the records, the escapement No. 12 and 14 was replaced with the No. 21 now fitted. The repair books record that it returned to the workshops in December 1828 on behalf of a Monsieur Friedlin, who declared himself to be very satisfied with its performance and requested only an overhaul before he embarked with it on a trip around the world.
