Buschmann, London, No. 2540, German, made for the Dutch market, circa 1750. Fine and unusual silver snuff box with a concealed watch. Three body, shaped, the watch concealed on the cover, disclosed by a lid. Silver champleve with Roman mimerais and outer Arabic minute ring with arched divisions. Gold Louis XV hands. Gilt brass dial plate engraved with scrolls. Hinged gilt brass full plate with baluster pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain steel three-arm balance, flat balance spring and English style gilt brass cock. Signed on the back plate. In very good condition. Dim. 75 x 56 mm.
