Fine gold and enamel form watch designed as a double bass, with vinaigrette compartment. wo-part, back engraved with foliage and a musical score decorated in white enamel on a scarlet translucent enamel over engine turning ( restored), the cover en suite with pierced "F" holes, scarlet enamelled neck with black finger board, gold keys and wire strings. Hinged gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance with flat spring and regulator, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece. Interior also with vinaigrette compartment with star pierced cover. Signed on the movement. In good condition. Dim. 74 x 29 mm.
