Ecole d'Horlogerie de la Vallee de Joux, masterpiece made by Eric Rochat, Les Bioux, from 1939 to 1943. Very fine 18 ct. gold moon phase astronomical keyless watch with perpetual calendar and split seconds chronograph, tachometer and 30 minute instantaneous recorder, in original fitted box. Silvered two tone, with applied gold indexes, outer Arabic minute and chronograph ring, tachometer scale for 1000 metres, subsidiary dials for days of the week, the months for the leap year cycle with outer minute register, the dates and the seconds with inner moon-phase aperture. Gold "batons" hands.
