J. W. Rosenthal, Bombay, No. 7356, Swiss, made for the Indian Market, circa 1890. Very fine 18 ct. gold and enamel hunting cased, keyless minute repeating watch. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", the band with red translucent and white champleve enamel decoration, the cover enamelled with a painted scene depicting a man on a horse, fighting against a tiger, with outer foliage decoration over a red translucent ground. The back with a sea-side landscape, a palace on the back ground. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel with Roman numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel Breguet hands.
