Yver a Angouleme, circa 1710. Fine silver Louis XIV "Oignon" with alarm. Double body, "Oignon", polished, the back pierced with foliage. Silver champleve with Roman numerals and inner silver alarm setting disc. Blued steel single hand and pointer. Hinged gilt brass full plate with faceted baluster pillars, verge escapement, plain steel three-arm balance, flat balance spring, silver cock pierced and engraved with birds and foliage. Alarm train with gilt brass fixed barrel pierced and engraved with foliage, striking on a bell. Signed on the back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 53 mm.
