Tavannes Watch Co. , Swiss, No. 3309326, circa 1940. Fine 14 ct. gold and enamel hunting cased, keyless dress watch. Four body "Empire" with reeded band, cover and back with a blue translucent enamel over engine-turning, the cover painted with a fine horse head. Hinged gold cuvette decorated with medals awarded in Brussels and Bern Exhibitions. Two tope silvered with Arabic numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel " cathédrales" hands.
