GOBIN", inscribed indistinctly at verso apparently reading "Environs du Montluel - aim - nateau deva Cote September 1926 Route du Montleul a nievror Marcel Gobin Marie Pource and Mon 1926". Autumnal landscape painting at dusk with expressive handling and almost sculptural use of paint, with trees, river and setting sun. Framed approximately 18.5" x 20.75". Unframed sheet approximately 9.75" x 12".
