Two Historical Blue Transfer-decorated Staffordshire Dinner Plates, England, early 19th century, one depicting "Marine Hospital Louisville Kentucky," (rim chip), and "Fall of Montmorenci Near Quebec," by Enoch Wood & Sons, both with shell borders, impressed maker's marks, dia. 9 1/8 in. 1/2 in. rim chip on hospital plate next to a approx 3/4 in. dent on the rim in the making (dent glazed). Both have brownish dicoloration on the bottoms.
