Fraktur: Birth/Baptismal Certificate

Fraktur: Birth/Baptismal Certificate, Martin Brechall (ac. 1783-1830), Pennsylvania, c. 1809, watercolor and ink on laid paper, with a verse inscribed within a heart, with stylized flowers issuing from it and flanking it, over the statistics framed by a decorative border, (imperfections), 13 x 7 5/8 in., in a later grain-painted frame. Numerous creases, tears, small losses, toning, repairs, and scattered stains, the paper placed on a similarly toned paper with a couple of well done, unobtrusive, professionally repainted small areas showing through the holes from the sheet below on one flower and a couple places on the border.
