Norton, Bennington, Vermont, decorated with a bird on a leaf, ht. 17 1/2; a three-gallon wide-mouth jar with stylized blossom, indistinct impressed oval maker's mark, ht. 12 1/4; and a spittoon, ornamented with stylized blossoms, ht. 4 in.; (imperfections). three-galllon jug by Nathan Clark-good condition, potstone burst on upper maker's mark; a four-gallon jug by E. & L.P. Norton-handle off but retained, small shallow lip chips; three-gallon wide-mouth jar- three 1/2 in. shallow rim chips, 4 in. hairline on side; spittoon- 7 in. hairline around top and two 1/2 in. chips near hairline.
