Transfer-decorated Liverpool Pitcher, England, early 19th century, one side depicting a ship flying a British flag, the reverse depicting a woman waving to three ships heading out to sea, with inscription "SUSAN'S FAREWELL/Adieu she cry'd and wav'd her Lily Hand," (hairline), ht. 9 1/2 in. Glazed over small spout chip in the making. 5 in. hairline on ship side extending onto base.
