Joan Miró (Spanish, 1893-1983) La Calebasse, 1969, edition of 75 plus proofs (Dupin, 488). Signed "Miró" in pencil l.r., numbered "66/75" in pencil l.l. Color etching with carborundum on cream paper, framed. Condition: Deckled edges, very pale staining, minor handling creases, not examined out of frame. The sheet is toned to a deep cream color and is "floated" in its frame. There a several extremely pale stains and minor handling creases, plus several areas where the deckled edges have been bent. Although it has not been removed from its frame, there are no additional visible issues to report. Because of its size and the way it is floated we cannot remove it from its frame without risking damage to the work.
