Arthur Russell Hurtt (American, 1861-1938) Emigration Canyon & Salt Lake Signed and indistinctly dated "A. R. HURTT..." l.l., identified on period labels, one initialled "A.R.H." l.r., affixed to the reverse. Oil on artist board, 9 1/4 x 12 1/4 in. (23.5 x 31.1 cm), framed. Condition: Mild wear/losses to corners/edges, mild surface grime. Provenance: A private Massachusetts collection. The losses/wear are to the very edges and are not visible with the work in its frame.
