Gerald Incandela (American, b. 1952) Study for "Dollars," 1982. Titled, signed, and dated "...G. Incandela'82" in red felt tip (or similar) within the image l.r. Brushed developer on photographic paper, 24 x 20 in. (61.0 x 50.8 cm), unmatted, unframed. Condition: Unobtrusive handling creases. Provenance: Whitney Museum Benefit Auction, c. 1999, for the Drawing Center . The handling creases are scattered about. There is also an abrasion (1mm) to the background in the upper left. The sheet is very subtly yellowed within the lower left quadrant.
