Ernest Knee (American, 1907-1982) Navajo Canyon of Abiquiu. Signed "Ernest Knee" in pencil on the mount l.r. Gelatin silver print, 7 3/8 x 9 1/2 in. (18.5 x 24.0 cm), matted, unframed. Condition: Annotations to reverse of the mount. Provenance: From the collection of Austin Lamont, by family descent. Soiling/rub to image u.c. The mount edges have subtle wear, and there is tape residue along the upper edge of the mount. The reverse of the mount is also gently toned.
