Georges Rouault (French, 1871-1958) Femme fière, from LES FLEURS DU MAL III, 1938, edition of 250 (Wofsy, 276). Initialed and dated in the plate. Color aquatint on paper, plate size 12 1/4 x 8 1/4 in. (31.0 x 20.8 cm), framed. Condition: Gentle rippling, not examined out of frame. The margins are 1/2 inch or more, and the sheet is gently rippled. Although it has not been removed from its frame, there are no additional visible issues to report. Sheet size 17 1/4 x 13 1/4 in. Margins between 2 and 3 inches. Lower edge deckled. Numbered "#12668" in pen on the reverse.
