Fine Pair of Early George III Carved Mahogany Library Armchairs, c. 1765, each with upholstered backrest and armrests with foliate carved supports, overupholstered serpentine seat, and acanthus-carved cabriole legs ending in claw-and-ball feet, seat ht. 17 1/2, wd. 21, dp. 22 1/2 in. Chairs have some minor replacements to seat rails; very good proportion and carving.
