Viennese Porcelain Canopic Jar-form Mantel Urn, early/mid-19th century, the ovoid powder blue ground body topped by the head of a pharaoh, the handle formed as the looped necks of swans, the tails held by the hands of the pharaoh, center of body with small rectangular reserve of a bird, ht. 7 1/2 in. Losses to the gilding of the lid and light gilt rubbing to head, hair, and fingers of the pharaoh, underside with faint "beehive" mark.
