Charles Bianchini (French, 1860-1905) Copy of a Self Portrait by Elisabeth Louise Vigée Le Brun (French, 1755-1842) Signed "C. Bianchini" on the reverse. Oil on canvas, 23 1/4 x 16 1/2 in., framed. Condition: Punctures in u.r. quadrant and l.l. corner, patch reinforcement, retouch, abrasions u.c., varnish inconsistencies, craquelure, surface grime. N.B. This copy is based on the Vigée Le Brun self portrait known as the St. Luca Portrait, done for the Accademia di San Luca in Rome in 1790.
