George II Walnut Kneehole Desk, with 18th century elements, rectangular top with umber leather insert and thumb-molded edge above a configuration of one long drawer, recessed kneehole with door, and six short drawers, bracket foot base, ht. 31, wd. 34, dp. 19 in. Top with shrinkage and slight waviness around edges; leather creased and with minor wear; two large patches to top drawer and small patches around keyholes; base cracked and with losses; age typical minor wear and deliberate aging; good timber and color.
