Chinese Export Silver Cake Basket, Canton/Shanghai, late 19th/early 20th century, Hung Chong, maker, round, with double ogee rim and tapered panels pierced and engraved with dragons amidst clouds and bamboo foliage, with swing handle modeled as knotted bamboo, on three low bamboo-form feet, dia. 11 in., approx. 15 troy oz. eight tiny metal tears and the ends of the pointed rim (each no longer than 1/8"), two with spots of solder repair . minor age/usage wear.
