Stanwood Coin Silver Kettle on Stand, Boston, mid 19th century, globular body with slightly domed lid with sphinx-form finial, beaded rims, engraved with name and dated 1860, on stand with beaded acanthus legs with shell feet, with burner, ht. to top of finial 10 1/4 in., approx. 50 troy oz. each side of handle lacking pin, so slightly loose. body with a few pinpoints and light dings throughout. minor age wear. engraved "Beals 1860"
