Chinese Silver Shield-shaped Presentation Plaque, c. 1930, with indistinct mark, the silver shield chased and embossed at edges with flower stems and a pair of birds, engraved to center with Chinese script, and dated 1930 at base, mounted to conforming hardwood shield carved at crest with stylized flower branches, silver lg. 8 1/2, wood backing lg. 12 5/8, wd. 8 5/8 in. 3 chinese character mark partially rubbed. tarnish, but otherwise good.
