Pair of Wedgwood Majolica Wine and Water Ewers, England, c. 1867, each polychrome decorated, the water ewer with figure of Triton seated atop the shoulder and modeled holding horns of a marine monster below the spout, aquatic festoons to either side; the wine ewer with figure of Bacchus seated atop the shoulder and modeled holding the horns of a ram's head below the spout, fruiting grapevine festoons to either side; impressed marks, ht. 17 in.
