Wedgwood and Bentley Mortarware Mortar and Pestle, England, c. 1780, pestle with wood handle, unmarked, lg. 12 1/2; circular mortar, impressed mark, dia. 7 3/4 in. Pestle: heavily crazed. Mortar: three holes of varying sizes to the interior of the bowl, 1/16, 1/8 and 1/4". Are to the outside of the spout ground down.
