Wedgwood and Bentley Black Basalt Canopic Jar/Candleholder, England, 18th century, the engine turned nozzle mounted atop the head/cover, the jar set atop a raised square plinth, impressed mark, ht. 11 5/8 in. Professionally restored to top rim of candle nozzle and join of nozzle to cover. Crack through one side of socle and plinth. Edge chips to plinth.
