Marguerite Syamour (American, 1857-1945), Large Carved Carrara Marble Bust of a Lady, with swept back hair and bare shoulders, the diaphanous drape covering her ample bosom and with carved leafy roses to her left shoulder, bunched drape to her right shoulder, with an oval plinth, ht. 27 1/2, lg. 34 in. Minor chips, mostly to base and extremities; surface dirty, no overt discolorations to the marble surface.
