George Albert Thompson (American, 1868-1938) Connecticut Fishing Village Signed and dated "G. A. Thompson 1917" l.l., inscribed on the reverse. Oil on board, 12 x 15 3/4 in. (30.4 x 40.0 cm), framed. Condition: Surface grime, minute loss u.l., scattered craquelure. Craquelure primarily to u.r. and u.l. quadrants, dashes of orange retouch to mast of sailboat at center and to grooves within craquelure directly right of mast.
