Continental Carved Ivory Crucifix on Stand, late 19th century, carved with Christ on the cross with three mourners below, mounted to a red velvet-covered pointed arch backing, on wooden plinth base, ivory ht. 10 3/4, full ht. 14 3/4 in. Line through Christ's arm at right shoulder. Breaks to base of cross between the two standing figures, with old repairs. surface grime. age wear to velvet backing.
