French Gilt-bronze Figural Group of a Satyr and Two Bacchantes, 19th century, in the style of Clodion, seated satyr with tambourine full of grapes by an infant bacchante, the woman with floral wreath in her hair, circular base, ht. 8 1/2 in. Rubbing and losses to gilding in the following spots; her right shoulder to elbow, right breast; buttocks; satyr with losses to left shoulder, chin and nose and along his back; minor rubbing in other spots, age typical minor defects.
