American Victorian Rococo Revival Carved Mahogany Extension Dining Table, c. 1855, circular top with thumbmolded edge and opening to accommodate five 18 1/2 in. leaves, plain frieze, and boldly carved base with fruit and foliage, dia. 54 in. Top with scattered and typical usage wear, minor dents, scuff, etc; top edge with 12 inch loss to thumb-edge molding, a small triangular patch to edge near molding a 7 inch patch near center seam; base with multiple scattered but small chips to foliage (some noticeable), with generally typical scuffing to feet; carving very good to base.
