French Guilloche Enamel Boudoir Timepiece, late 19th century, egg-shaped body with yellow enameled ground, with small reserve decorated with a classical maiden seated on a balustrade, the dial set horizontally in body, with gilt-metal rims suspending chains, on octagonal white marble foot, ht. 5 in. horizontal bezel has three loops which MAY have suspended chains etc., but nothing on any at this point. One set of chains lacking colorless glass drops. The other two with only one colorless glass drop. minor metal discoloration. minor paint loss to the numeral XII.
