Scottish Georgian Inlaid Mahogany Tall Case Clock, last quarter 18th century, dial signed J. Gordon, Perth, swan's neck cresting and arched door enclosing a brass and steel face with two-train movement and subsidiary dials for seconds and date, mid-case and plinth base inlaid with scrolling foliage, quarter-fans, checker-banding, and stringing, on ogee bracket feet, ht. 87 in. Shot without brass finial which is present; pendulum, two weights and winder; apparently complete; age typical minor defects; very good overall.
