Jacobean Carved Oak Blanket Chest, 17th century, rectangular top above a conforming case carved with figures in high relief in arcaded panels and with foliate carved stiles, on bun feet, ht. 22, wd. 37 1/2, dp. 22 in. Top with long strip repair; feet replaced; chipping and age typical defects; one long piece of molding off left side but present; molding strips to right side with some warping. Top lifts only, front does not.
