Staffordshire Creamware Frog Mug, England, c. 1825, cylindrical shape with polychrome enamel flowers surrounding a central verse below a title "George Wrightson Died May 11 1825 Aged 20 Months," a frog figure applied to the interior of the body, ht. 5 3/4 in. Factory rim chip of 1/2" (painted over in manufacture); 3/8' rim chip; 1/4" glaze roughness along rim; 1 1/2" rim hairline; some scattered flaking of the glaze along the rim.
