Signed "Samuel Chamberlain" in pencil l.r., inscribed "epreuve d'artiste" in pencil l.l. Etching on paper, plate size 5 7/8 x 7 3/4 in. (14.7 x 19.7 cm), matted, unframed. Condition: Margins 1 1/2 inches or more with two deckled edges, annotations to lower margin. Provenance: Through the family of the artist. Brown paper hinges to top margin are not affixed to the mat.
