Pair of Parian Ware Dog Sculptures, Daniel Chester French (American, 1850-1931) titled "Imposing on Good Nature" and "Retribution," both with artist's name "D. C. French" impressed on side of base, (losses, repair), ht. 5, 6 1/4 in. Imposing on Good Nature: Tip of small dog's tail missing and tip of his right ear missing; Retribution: small dog's right forleg repaired, bottom portion of his his left rear leg missing, crack across large dog's left rear leg.
