Two Georg Jensen Grape Compotes No. 263 Sterling silver Denmark, c. 1924 Both with flared bowls with grapes and vines below, spiral stem, circular foot, engraved on base rim, marked Georg Jensen in a beaded oval, Sterling Denmark, no. 263, and GI 925S in an oval on the base, combined wt. approx. 35 troy oz., both ht. 7 1/16 in. Provenance: Descended in the estate of a Cambridge, Massachusetts, and New York City academic family. Inscription on base rim reads Ruth Prince November 1924 Lee Adam Gimbel
