Two Small English Silver Boxes, London, a George III needlecase, 1817, maker's mark JL, cylindrical, with overall engine-turned ground, lg. 3 1/2, and an Elizabeth II silver Victorian-style figural matchsafe, 1962, maker's mark BAC, formed as a seated dog wearing a hat and a ruffled collar, lg. 2 3/8 in., approx. 2 troy oz. dog: some usage wear at hinge and rims. needlecase: good, with minor age wear. marks good.
