Victorian Travel Canteen Containing Silver and Silver Plate Table Setting for Two, Birmingham, 1838, Joseph Willmore, maker, the drum-shaped morocco-covered case velvet-lined and fitted with two each of forks, knives, and spoons, all unscrewing at handle into two pieces to fit into case, the handles in King pattern, with two nesting silver plate beakers with gold-washed interiors, ht. 3 5/8, and three small silver plate condiment jars, one engraved "P" for pepper, with interior lid with circular piercing, one engraved "S" for salt, with interior lid pierced with stars, and the other with solid interior lid, ht. 1 5/8 in., approx. 2 troy oz. weighable silver. good, with minor age wear to morocco and interior fabric. handles with some loose loading. the knife blades steel. the silverplate beakers and jars unmarked.
