Victorian Britannia Silver Mug, London, 1898, Charles Stuart Harris, maker, slightly tapered cylindrical mug with ribbed rim and waist band, chased and embossed with central band of fluting centered by a monogrammed medallion, ear handle topped by a band of beads, ht. 5 1/4 in., approx. 13 troy oz. monogrammed GD with date 26-4-19. slightly off-round. dent to front edge of footrim with related light surface abrasion. light dings and usage wear throughout. pinpoint dents to interior of base. marks good, with some wear to maker's mark.
