Comyns, maker, the long tortoiseshell blade with silver handle stamped with grotesque masks at terminals, the hilt with scene of a courting couple within rocaille C-scrolls, with crown-form terminal, monogrammed, full lg. 17 5/8, handle lg. approx. 4 3/4 in. a few small holes/gouges to shell blade, with color a little milky. minor age wear to handle.
