Chinese Export Silver Goblet, Luen Wo, Shanghai, late 19th/early 20th century, the bell-shaped bowl heavily chased and embossed with dense bamboo branches with songbirds, with a single shield engraved with name, on flaring stem with diagonal band of flowering vine, on domed leaftip and bamboo foot, ht. 8 1/4 in., approx. 9 troy oz. engraved "Arthur Hamburg". underside of foot with engraved inscription: Gestiftet von Herrin Gustav Tharling 20 Januar 1690" good, with minor age wear. marks good.
